Mike Lindell Sued by DHL for $800K in Unpaid Bills

Mike Lindell, the founder of MyPillow, finds himself embroiled in yet another legal battle, this time facing a lawsuit from international shipping giant DHL. Filed on September 12, 2024, the lawsuit claims that MyPillow owes nearly $800,000 in unpaid delivery bills. The conflict centers around a settlement agreement reached in May 2023, which required MyPillow to pay off the debt in 24 monthly installments. However, according to DHL, MyPillow has only made two payments, totaling just over $64,000, with the last payment made in June 2024.

DHL asserts that MyPillow has been in default since July, leading them to seek legal recourse in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Lindell, in response, has stated that the dispute with DHL began over a year ago and claims that the delivery company was at fault for shipment issues. He also mentioned that his company decided to stop using DHL’s services long before the lawsuit was filed. Despite his denials, Lindell appears to be facing mounting financial and legal pressures.

This lawsuit is the latest in a series of legal troubles for Lindell and his company. He is also embroiled in defamation lawsuits from two voting machine companies over his claims about the 2020 U.S. presidential election. Additionally, MyPillow has faced significant financial challenges over the past year, losing major advertising platforms like Fox News and being dropped by numerous retailers.

The fallout from these ongoing issues has hit MyPillow’s cash flow hard. In fact, Lindell’s legal team for the defamation cases even resigned earlier this year due to unpaid legal fees. Moreover, in February 2024, Lindell was ordered to pay $5 million to a software engineer who successfully challenged his claims that China interfered in the 2020 election.

As Lindell continues to defend himself on multiple legal fronts, his financial situation appears increasingly precarious. His defense in these legal battles, along with his declining business prospects, has raised concerns about the future viability of MyPillow.
